What the sources establish
The store describes changing procedural layouts. The launch post confirms Sketch-A-Map shows nearby space, teammates and Barry, and identifies Glowsticks as navigation aids.

01 Separate your destination from your route
First decide whether you are looking for Barry, a teammate or an exit. Then use the information available for that destination. Wandering while changing the goal makes it harder to explain your position to someone else.
02 Build a shared landmark vocabulary
When you mention a landmark, include a distinguishing feature and whether you have already passed it. ‘The room with the broken shelving; I am at the entrance’ is more useful than ‘the room’. Avoid claiming that a landmark always appears in the same direction.
03 Use recordings to learn what to notice
Pause a playthrough before the player chooses a direction. Ask what information you would use, then compare their choice. The exercise is about recognising prompts, landmarks and uncertainty. It does not turn that recording into a map for your next run.
04 When two teammates disagree
Stop adding directions until you confirm whether you are describing the same reference point. State the destination again, identify whose information is current, and agree on a meeting point. This is a suggested teamwork routine; it is not a claim about enemy behaviour or a guaranteed safe place to wait.
Limits of this guide
No fixed item spawn, universal route or enemy-safe location is claimed.
