ABOUT THE
FIELD GUIDE.
A practical companion for Escape from Playtime, with evidence you can inspect.
What you can do here
Playtime Field Guide, also called Playtime Base, combines short, source-linked answers with tools you can use before a run. Find an item reference, prepare a team brief, compare quota amounts, track your Critters or draft a clearer bug report. The original fan arcade offers separate browser games for breaks between runs.
Start at the survival desk for a specific question, or use the team planner to turn advice into a plan. Your checklists and notebook stay on your current browser.
Who publishes this guide
Playtime Field Guide is the editorial name used by this independent fan project. We are not Mob Entertainment, a developer support service or an official wiki. We do not claim expert credentials or first-hand gameplay testing. Articles identify the project as their author and show the date of the source review.
AI-assisted drafting and coding are used to build this resource. That assistance does not establish a game fact. The linked developer announcement, store description or other named source is the evidence behind a claim; editorial planning suggestions are labelled separately.
How to read the evidence
A launch statement, an announced future change and a player report mean different things. Each answer keeps that distinction visible. Conflicting player counts and older beta advice are explicitly flagged. We leave undocumented counters, unlock thresholds and item statistics unknown.
Source review is manual. A reviewed date describes the written-source review, not a live check of the game or a promise that advice matches every patch. YouTube creators are credited; their spoken advice has not been independently reviewed. Use the source register and version notes to compare a claim with its dated evidence.
Tools, artwork and your data
The quota worksheet performs arithmetic using your inputs; it cannot inspect a match. The crew builder makes a card for you to copy; it does not match players or post messages. Arcade rules are original fan fiction and teach no verified official-game mechanics.
Official screenshots belong to Mob Entertainment. Decorative illustrations and arcade artwork were generated for this project. Search, drafts and saved progress run locally in your browser. No Steam connection is used. YouTube players load only after you choose to play a video, and hosting providers may process request logs. See artwork credits and privacy notes for the full scope.
